Shambles
Key: Am, sort of.
Tempo: Slow
Guitar and sound: Humbucker Strat, fat and distorted in such a fashion that the single notes of the Dm-C riff are still clear.
Intro: First riff of the main verse, or one iteration of the entire verse structure. Or an improvisation leading to it.
Main verse:
Am, strummed once, then slid up to Bm and back to Am, then opened to G - then finger the open G chord and play it once, switch to G7 and play it with immediate damping. This is for lines 1, 2, and 4.
Arpeggiate a Dm chord down, then switch smoothly to a C chord and continue the lazy strum/arpeggiation back up, to an F cut off by an F7 and immediate damping. This is for line 3.
Each line is sung in the trailing guitar noise before the 7th chord.
Refrain: Em - F#m - Em - F#m, between the verses.
Ending: Repeat Am-G7 riff once.
