i still want to get to the roots of jealousy and rip them out; this unfortunately does not mean that i do not sometimes feel it and suffer it and cause it while I am trying to understand it. i do not think that i ever intentionally try to make you suffer, and i hope the same is true for you. there are so many things to talk about, while we try to follow the feelings we share at the same time as doing everything that makes us happy when we are apart.

she only dances with you to make me jealous
and love is just a little game we play
hiding our true selves and hoping for honesty
holding our hearts where they won't get in the way

now jealousy's nothing new, but I don't understand
how it could bring us closer, or make me take her hand
