She Sings It Every Time
Then I had to write a song
About a woman I love
And when I say "a woman"
I mean a goddess above
Of course I had to make it all true
Every word and scene
And I know when she hears it
She'll know it's her I mean
Whether it will scare her off
Or touch her heart like mine
Is something I will only know
If she sings it every time
Now I have to sing her song
Each day before I can smile
And if the breeze carries to her
She would stop and think a while
chorus
I had to make every part of it true
My feelings, every word
And I know when she hears it
She will see I want it heard
chorus
I'm sad to say she's gone away
Years now miles from here
But I'll still sing this song to her
It helps to hold her dear
chorus
I will only ever know
If she sings it every time
