Shadow of Light (Part II)

I was at the dump right where I met you
When I felt a shadow that came
Not a shadow - a feeling of light
It was like you were moments away

You didn't arrive - of course you're nowhere near
But the feeling you near wouldn't leave
Through the noise and the crowd I kept feeling you
As if you were - as if you could be

I let it take over - because why not feel it?
And you - you - were a shadow of light
Memories already iridescent flooded
Through my veins and colored my sight

As this little mind-storm wore off
It still left me feeling you were there
How could that be, it was only a shadow
Iridescent light in your hair

How could you be, the brightest of shadows
I still feel like I saw you there
