might as well write songs

high places get too scary
might as well walk along

if your knife isn't sharp
might as well eat bread

cops here shoot too slowly
best go home to bed

your life seems too empty
so fill it with rhymes

race cars run too noisy
just go ride a bike

twice you swore to "eternity" -
now you've nothing left to give

can't we pause and let it stall?
