When you start a thought with "What we were taught"
Wisdom conventional is too unintentional
Down every alley
From there it's downhill through the constant refill
We gum up our works with acceptance of perks
(chorus) You take new ideas apart without fears
Put them all together assemble even better
(chorus) To do more than read and blindly succeed
Not just memorize, you must synthesize
(chorus) We expect you to learn not repeat at your turn
It's harder than that escaping the hatch
(chorus) The boobies with evens and odds (chorus) When you start a thought with "What we were taught"
