I have observed the thoughts and rationale of quite a few relatively intelligent people in numerous stations of life, and noticed that the carefully-thought out conclusions they come to are precisely ideal for their needs and concerns. It's a remarkable coincidence that pure logic based on nothing but clear facts can yield results so consistently self-serving. 7/8/21
