Ten Days in March

the rain came
and washed away
what little was left
of the snow

your birds sang
and I cast away
memories the right
time to go

(music)

your sun warms
the crevices
ice has been lodged
for too long

your breeze calls
with promises
days full of joy
and our song

(music)

the season reckons
that we should know
to come together
this time

and swelling beckons
your love to grow
from a frozen bed
into mine
