Neo-vegetarianism is a fascinating phenomenon of the late nineties that has been brewing slowly for most for the 1990's.
Not so much a diet or philosophy about the economics of food but a social clique... The neo-vegetarians are people, who alone or in groups, look smugly down on those who eat more meat than they do themselves. Killer quote... "I'd be a vegan but I like cheese too much". Wouldn't want to give anything up for our politics, now , would we?
