A Different Castle

...and the princess found herself saved
in a different castle for glory
A castle, her flags, but still
four walls at the end of the story

A different castle
to keep her

The stones and iron - defenses bold
Against all threat, but so cold -

A different castle

A castle indeed - a crenellate tower
But yielding no warmth to her power

to keep her

A castle her own, a view, and more!
But no key in sight for the door.

A different castle
to keep her

The princess found herself a new home
just a different castle each day.
Castles bedecked in ribbons I'm sure
What a price she's had to pay.

A different castle
to keep her

A castle is a jail built fit for a king
but a queen still not free to sing

A different castle
to keep her
